Juror misconduct alleged in civil rights trial stemming from police shooting

In a civil rights case against a Kent police officer for shooting the passenger in a stolen car, the defense is asking for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict or a new trial because of the influence of a juror who is married to a King County Sheriff's deputy.
