Historians -- led by the National Security Archive at George Washington University -- have sought the opening of the record of the grand jury testimony in the case against Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. Now the federal government has given the go-ahead, at least for 35 witnesses who are either dead or have consented to the release; there were 10 other witnesses who have not consented (sometimes because they could not be located).
