The police department's release of files to KING-TV is still in dispute. Defense attorney James Conroy and prosecutor Scott O'Toole argued before Court of Appeals Commissioner Susan Craighead on Friday. Status of probe in Schierman case argued, Seattle Times, Sept. 23, 2006.

Update (Oct. 12):I just found that the King Couny Superior Court website includes the text of Judge Canova's orders concerning the public records issue and press access to the courtroom.
